Yoga has been an important part of my life for over 10 years as it has helped me firsthand to overcome my own personal back pain issue. I earned my 200-hour yoga certification at YogaRenew in September 2024.
I believe in continuously learning new things about yoga to improve my teaching and practice. My goal is for everyone in my class to leave with a true body and mind connection through the practice of yoga. I offer both private and group yoga classes and look forward to practicing with you!
My main focus is to utilize gentle yoga moves that can help people that have had surgery, follow a kind of treatment or want to alleviate certain pains and gain more flexibility.
Understanding the fundamentals of yoga is crucial for beginners. It is also important to take the time in learning the basic poses such as Tabletop, Child’s Pose and Cat-Cow as well as their modifications; in order to open the body gently, provide tension relief and promote flexibility. This is why I have designed a specific program that involves stretching, flexing, twisting combined with basic breathing techniques to promote relaxation and healing.
The poses are meant for everyone regardless of their fitness level and by focusing on slow and mindful movements, practitioners can gradually improve their flexibility, strengthen their muscles, and achieve a greater sense of well-being.
I will demonstrate each pose with clear instructions on how to enter and exit them, highlighting key points to focus on to ensure safety and effectiveness.
Understanding what to avoid is equally important, as it helps prevent strain and injury. Modifications can be made using props like blankets and blocks to make the poses more accessible.
I offer a variety of yoga classes designed to fit your schedule. I am available throughout the week, with options for different skill levels. Whether you are a beginner or have some experience, I welcome you to come and find the perfect class to aid your recovery.
